Getting acquainted with school, campus, and of course- the FABULOUS views from Mount Scopus (הר הצופמ)

On a clear day, you can see past the Dead Sea and into Jordan from the windows of our studio!

On the way back from Eilat, we drove through Timna Park, which is known for its rock formations and ancient copper mines. Not as exciting as it sounds… but this is what I’d imagine Mars looks like.

Ein Avdat was the first stop on our Negev roadtrip to Eilat. We accidentally stumbled upon Ben Gurion’s tomb, and afterwards we had an amazing hike through the cliffs. The hardest part was avoiding all of the children on field trips; a narrow set of stairs carved into the side of the cliff proved the biggest congestion.

When we first arrived, Dad and I hung out for a few days in Tel Aviv. We enjoyed the beach views and explored Jaffa Port.

Trip to the Dead Sea- ימ המלח

My first (and only so far!) hitchhiking experience. It took 3 cars just to get there, but at least we never had to wait too long! Note: point finger down, not thumb up.

tags: Dead Sea

Of course, now that I am a few weeks from leaving Eretz Yisrael, I have decided to document my experiences :-)… Lets just say I’ve purposely waited to have time to reflect? Either way, I will be organizing my experiences by tags, so you can follow things that way.
